A solution for Excess Plastics Packaging in Queensland after 1 September 2021
Queensland ban starts today! From 1 September 2021 these plastic items cannot be supplied by shops and cafes or at public events In Queensland.
If you have excess plastics-straws, cutlery, plates and bowls and expanded polystyrene cups and containers, we now have a solution to ensure these items don't go to waste. The Great Plastic Rescue is an initiative that collects those banned plastic items and will get them recycled.
All you need to do (right now) is to register through the link below. You will receive instructions later on where to take your excess items.
